Eyevan started in Japan and crossed the Pacific to morph into Oliver Peoples in their first life - we got lost in the story around Hawaii. It’s not that we didn’t care, we just got distracted by the unbelievable quality of the frames and the timeless and incredibly ageless designs.

I'm told that when this guy showed what he could do with a few bits of titanium wire everyone had a good laugh, well like all good mad men he retreated to his garage and came up with an initial design so revolutionary the rest of the spectacle world wept - and so the moral of the story is... he who laughs last...

He was cast into exile for a few years after leaving Gucci. But I can tell you he put those years to good use. "I must have them at any cost!” was wailed to us by one desperate customer.

When you think of Belgium, you probably think of beer, chocolate and Theo frames. We can't tell you much about the first two - but we can tell you that Theo frames are stonking!
